Conclusion

The research underscores the superior efficiency of mainstream e-commerce platforms over buying agent models in logistics performance concerning both timeliness and accuracy. However, buying agent platforms often enable consumers to access products that are not normally available on mainstream e-commerce sites. Potential customers are thus advised to weigh these logistics considerations against specific product needs when choosing between these platforms.
